Despite Positive Substance Use Trends, Tobacco And Alcohol Still Have High Costs To Society (Medical News Today)

While this CAMH Monitor eReport reveals some promising substance use trends among Ontario adults, its revelation of a substantial increase in cannabis use raises a significant public health flag.First the more positive news. Past year smoking rates are the lowest on record, significantly declining from 28 percent in 1996 to 20 percent in 2005.

Another great day in New Hampshire! The weather was absolutely perfect today and the biggest problem here today is that there seems to be some sort of controversy over the snowfall measurements in New Hampshire this winter. Apparently it possible that they had record snowfall this year but the official recorder was out of town during one snowfall and the backup recorder didn't do his job. I feel like the week should be over, but we’re barely halfway through. Both of the girls had their class field trips this week, and I went on both. For Laura, we went downtown to the Ft. Worth Stockyards, which I always enjoy. Maddie’s class went to the zoo, another personal favorite in our new city. I’ll post photos at the end of our trips.
