Lies, Damn Lies and Conservative Talking Points

The immaturity and lies kept coming from the Conservative war room today, which really doesn't come as a surprise to most. Stephen Harper and his crew have proven to us again that they are willing to do anything, including flat out lying, to try to win. Today's prime example was posted on their website, in a release called "Jack Layton insults troops". Yeah, classy stuff. The laying off of workers in the building , shoe and hotel industries in the Valencia region , has meant that the vineyards are going to be fully employed this autumn . The 10,000 workers needed to harvest the grapes are now available without the problems of previous years . Immigrants still make up 90% of those who work in this area , now Spanish workers have been seeking employment. Um…sounds like a scam and she really is pregnant but what do I know. I mean doesn’t everyone wear butt pads like Kim Kardashian? I mean seriously they are the latest trend and are fun to wear till your significant other goes to chomp one of those suckers and gets a face full of cotton.

As headlines go, it’s not quite as bad as “The NDP caucus supports child pornography”, but it’s getting close. From a release issued by the Tories earlier today: JACK LAYTON INSULTS TROOPS NDP Leader Jack Layton made the disturbing suggestion yesterday that coalition troops are targeting and recklessly killing Afghan civilians.
